Publish to the Marketplace

Share a Rule or Policy to the Marketplace

If you would like to share your expertise with others, we allow users to publish to the marketplace (pending Preamble approval). The process is the same for publishing a rule or a policy. The steps to publish include:

Steps:

• Navigate to the Marketplace tab

• Click on Publish Rules or Publish Policies, then select a policy from your library to publish from the drop-down. Then click Next.

• Select the version you wish to publish, then click Next again.

• Review the policy for accuracy and completeness, if it is acceptable, click I want to submit this policy version for publishing.

• Next select an appropriate class to categorize your policy for others to easily find.

  • Current classes are:

    • Language and Tone

    • Political Content

    • Regulatory and Compliance

    • Ideological Harm

    • Privacy and Security

    • Hate and Harassment

    • Self Inflicted Harm

    • Ethics

    • General

    • Religious Content

    • Child Safe

Fill out the following content to Publish your Policy:

• Name

  • Give your policy a name that easy for others to understand the context.

• Description

  • A summary of the policy.

• Use/Purpose

  • What is the primary use case for this policy?

• Limitation

  • Add any known limitations based on the use case or industry.

• Intended Industry

  • Select the most appropriate industry this policy applies to. If it is general purpose select Other

• Source of the data

  • Original - made by you or your organization

  • AI generated - generated solely by AI

  • Blended - data consists of original and AI-generated content

Finally, when you are ready to publish, check the box after reviewing Preamble’s code of conduct, then click Publish.

*Note: All Rules and Policies submitted to the Preamble Marketplace go through review for our own compliance. If there are any issues, you will receive feedback from a Preamble team member.
